With the completion of the first phase, the city now has an Environmental Education Center, intended for discussion of environmental and social issues.

In the second stage, the park won the Annex I of the Environmental Education Center. The new space is home to the Center for Aquatic MA, coordinated by the Instituto Chico Mendes.

It was also delivered to the population Gym Tiao, reformed, and functional equipment, which are included, toilets, changing rooms, eating area, clinic, police station, a haven of health and leisure park. In the other stages will involve the naturalistic area, the promenade and the full arena.

It is here where it develops and coordinates activities of the Park which, apart from being environmental actions, promote the sport, culture and social inclusion. Divided into various environments, the Center has four classrooms and a main hall, which together have a capacity for 360 people.
